Recipe: Chicken Parm
Everyone loves a great chicken parm. This recipe is simple & delicious. The whole recipe takes about 40 minutes to make, and then you can enjoy a delicious home cooked Italian meal the way it should be enjoyed - with your loved ones!
Ingredients:
8 Chicken Tenders
3 cups of Bread Crumbs
¼ cup of Parmesan Cheese
3 Eggs
Choice of Pasta (1 pound)
Choice of Pasta Sauce (2 jars)
4 slices of Provolone Cheese
1 Tbsp of Avocado Oil
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350*
Begin by using a meat tenderizer to flatten the chicken tenders
Crack 3 eggs in a bowl. Mix together. In a separate bowl, mix bread crumbs & parmesan cheese together.
Once flattened, dip each tender in egg mixture & then the bread crumb mixture.
On the stove top, heat a pan on a medium heat setting with a tablespoon of avocado oil.
Add the chicken, cook until golden brown. Flip once.
In a baking dish, add a layer of sauce.
Add the golden-brown chicken to the dish. Cover the chicken in the remaining sauce.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package & on medium heat, gently heat the sauce, stirring often.
Once the chicken is done baking, slice the provolone cheese in half & add a half slice to each tender, wait until the cheese is melted
Serve each chicken on top of your pasta.
Top with extra sauce, if you wish.
